Through this page you have
access to a growing list of short articles
on the subjects of Yoga philosophy and practice,
Ayurvedic theory and practice, and the
challenges and joys of walking the path of
spiritual evolution. I'm posting these
articles not only for general reference, but to
give a clearer picture of the issues, methods,
and perspectives that may be part of the
experience of Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic
consultation. Some of these articles are
expanded versions of the texts found in the
flash portion of our site, presented here as
Word documents for easy searching and printing
for personal study. Some are
taken from past newsletters, and are
'easy-reading". Others are more scholarly
and in-depth, coming from therapeutic documents
used at Renaissance Yoga and Ayurveda.
These articles share a
broad range of influences, and are inspired by
teachers from many disciplines, many of whom I
have been fortunate enough to study with in
person: Charles Anderson, Geshe Michael Roach,
Sogyal Rinpoche, Chogyam Trungpa, Geshe Thubten
Rinchen, Geshe Lobsang Tharchin, Dilgo Khyentse
Rinpoche, HH the Dalai Lama, Kim Schwartz,
Ramanand Patel, Dr. David Frawley, Robert
Svoboda, Vasant Lad, Saraswati Buhrman, Baba
Hari Dass, Byron Katie, and many others.
It is my intention to
eventually edit and compile these articles into
book form. If you would like to
republish any of these articles on-line or
otherwise, please e-mail your request to
info@renaissanceyoga.ca. You can also
use this address to ask me any questions that
the articles provoke.
